  • There are a couple of other items that the Veterans Hospital needs and we will be looking into possibly funding them this year.
  • Parents As First Teachers (PAFT) purchased an Otoacoustic Emissions Machine (OAE). To do hearing assessments to families in their program. PAFT needs this equipment to be fully compliant with the National Center’s guidelines and Kansas State Board of Education funding requirements.

The primary objective of the Community Projects committee is to fund needed medical equipment to Winfield institutions that qualify. This has already generated new interest in the Foundation and should help with future contributions. It demonstrates a willingness to give back to the community that has supported us so well in the past.
